Hebron, Jefferson County, Wisconsin 1845 - 1867:
William and Martha Wright and Jesse and Mary Wright and their families lived
in Hebron, Jefferson Co., Wisconsin. There was/is still a Wright Mill District
there. Affiliated families were: Cooley, Porter and Whitney, as noted
on the Wright Family
page with the names Martha, Wright, William Wright, Charles Wright and Almeda
Wright.
Harborcreek, Erie County, Pennsylvania 1835 - 1845
William/Martha and Jesse/Mary lived in a huge brick home along with Luther
and Chloe (Manley) Searles, parents of Mary; and with Luther Jr. and wife.
The home is still in use.
Crown Point, Essex County, New York 1814 - 1835
William and Martha (Cummings) Wright moved to Crown Point shortly
after their marriage in Concord, Vermont in 1813. Martha's parents and siblings
had recently moved to Crown Point. The Cummings family had been in New Hampshire
from the early 1700s; Isaac Cummings, Senior of Boston, Ipswich and Topsfield was the first of the
line in America from the mid-1630's.
Vermont and New Hampshire 1797 - 1814
William Wright's father, William-1, took the family to New Hampshire in
1797-8; some of the children went across the Connecticut River into Vermont.
Middleton, Andover, Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts 1633 - 1797
The given Wright names were Joshua, John, and Walter; in-laws were the John
Johnson family and the Samuel Wardwell family.
